I have been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes since 1994 and perform in a variety of settings. I have competed in solo and pipe band competitions throughout the United States, Canada, Scotland, New Zealand, and Australia. I have had the privilege of competing in top level (Grade One) pipe bands, including the Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band in Palmerston North, New Zealand and the City of Washington Pipe Band in Washington D.C.

I perform for large and small functions, including church services, weddings, funerals, retirements, golf outings, parties, etc.

I was first exposed to the bagpipes in the fall of 1993 as a first-year student at the College of Wooster, where I was intrigued by the haunting and powerful sound of the bagpipes. I started lessons in January 1994 and was able to play in The College of Wooster’s Pipe Band starting that fall. That started the pipe band journey.
